UNDE KADUBU RECIPE/ STEAMED RICE DUMPLINGS

INGREDIENTS

  • Rice – 1 cup (Sona masuri rice )

  • Water – 2 cup

  • Grated coconut – ½ cup

  • Salt - as per taste

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Rinse the rice and drain it. Spread it in coth or plate. Leave until it is dry.

  • Grind it coarsely along with coconut like rava.

  • Boil water in a pan along with salt, when it starts boiloing slowly add the rice gradually and keep stirring to avoid lumps.

  • Dough will be thick in couple of minutes and it will be soft switch off the flame.

  • Wet the finger in water, make small orange sized balls in the dough nad using thumb make small dent.

  • Steam cook it for 10-15 minutes and serve
