INGREDIENTS:

  • Prawns - 200g

  • Onions - 1 no

  • Green chilli - 1 no

  • Ginger garlic paste - 2 tbsp

  • Red chilli powder - 1 ½ tsp

  • Turmeric powder - ¼ tsp

  • Coriander powder - 1 ¼ tsp

  • Cumin powder - ¼ tsp

  • Garam masala - ½ tsp

  • Lemon juice - 1 tbsp

  • Curry leaves - few

  • Oil - few

METHOD:

  • Marinate the prawns in ginger garlic paste, chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, lemon juice and salt for 30 mins.

  • Add a small cup of water to the marinated prawns and bring it to boil reduce to medium flame cook for 5 minutes. Turn off the heat and drain the excess water.

  • Heat oil in pan add sliced onions, green chillies and curry leaves and saute till onions turn brown. Add the cooked prawns and garam masala and stir fry for 3 minutes. Adjust salt and turn off heat.
