DONDAKAYA FRY

INGREDIENT
Tindora - 250g
Cumin seeds - 1tsp
Red chilli - 2 nos
Green chilli - 2 nos
Curry leaves - few
Asafoetida - a pinch
Turmeric powder - ½ tsp
Chilli powder - ½ tsp
Garam masala - ½ tsp
Coriander powder - ½ tsp
Salt - to taste
Oil - as required
Lemon juice - 1 tsp
METHOD
Heat oil in a pan and cumin Seeds. Add dried red chillies, curry leaves, finely chopped green chillies & asafoetida and fry.
Add the thinly sliced tindora to the pan. Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala, coriander powder, salt and lemon juice.
Stir fry the tindora on a medium flame. After 5 minutes cover it with a lid and cook on a low flame for 15 minutes
Dondakaya fry is ready.
