INGREDIENTS


  • Moong dal - 250 g

  • Ginger - 1 inch

  • Soaked rice - 1 cup

  • Green chillies - 2 no

  • Coconut oil - as required


METHOD


  • Soak rice and moong dal together for around 3 - 4 hours. When dal is soaked grind it to a thick paste along with chopped ginger and chillies.

  • Preheat the dosa tawa, once it is hot enough smear oil on to it. Spread the batter evenly on the dosa tawa.

  • Apply oil around the dosa wait till the edges turn golden.

  • Flip the dosa to the other side and let it cook for a while, not more than a minute.

  • Serve it with chutney.
