RED CHILLI CHUTNEY

INGREDIENTS:


  • Red chilli - 4 nos

  • Tamarind pulp - 1 big size

  • Shallots - 8 nos

  • Garlic - 4 nos

  • Salt - as required

  • Mustard seeds - 1 tsp

  • Asafoetida - a pinch

  • Oil - as required

METHOD:


  • Take red chilli, salt, onion, garlic and tamarind in a blender and grind smoothly. Add water if needed.

  • Heat oil in a pan temper with mustard seeds and asafoetida and pour the ground mixture.

  • Continue cooking in a low flame for 5 minutes until oil separates.

  • Ready to serve.
