INGREDIENTS:
Mutton - 200 g
Curd - 1 cup
Turmeric powder - ½ tsp
Chilli powder - 1 tsp
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
Coriander powder - 2 tsp
Poppy seed - 1 tsp
Cinnamon stick - 1 small pinch
Onion - 1 no
Clove - 3 nos
Cardamom - 2 no
Oil - as required
Pepper - 1 tsp
Salt - as required
METHOD:
Marinate mutton with curd, turmeric powder, chilli powder, ginger paste, salt and allow it to marinate for an hour.
Dry roast coriander powder, grind poppy seed to a fine paste.pound cinnamon, clove and cardamom.
Heat oil in a pan, saute onion until golden brown. Add ginger garlic paste and fry. To this add ground spices.
Add chilli powder cook for 2 minutes. Add marinated mutton and simmer to a lower flame. Pour the required amount of water and allow the mutton to cook.
Cook till mutton turns brown and crisp. Remove from fire serve with rice.
