INGREDIENTS
Rice – 1 cup (soaked for 6-8 hours)
Urad dal – ½ cup (soaked for 6-8 hours)
Grated coconut – ¾ cup
Sliced coconut – ½ cup
Jaggery – 1 cup
Black pepper powder – ½ tsp
Salt – to taste
Ghee – 1 tbsp
INSTRUCTIONS
Grind rice and urd dal to smooth paste, cover and let it ferment for 8 hours.
To this add jaggery, grated coconut, sliced coconut, pepper powder and salt.
Grease baking tray with ghee and pour the batter.
Preheat the over to 180 C and bake for 30 minutes.
Lower the temperature and bake for 30 minutes again
Once cool down, slice into cubes.
