INGREDIENTS


  • Rice – 1 cup (soaked for 6-8 hours)

  • Urad dal – ½ cup (soaked for 6-8 hours)

  • Grated coconut – ¾ cup

  • Sliced coconut – ½ cup

  • Jaggery – 1 cup

  • Black pepper powder – ½  tsp

  • Salt – to taste

  • Ghee – 1 tbsp

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Grind rice and urd dal to smooth paste, cover and let it ferment for 8 hours.

  • To this add jaggery, grated coconut, sliced coconut, pepper powder and salt.

  • Grease baking tray with ghee and pour the batter.

  • Preheat the over to 180 C and bake for 30 minutes.

  • Lower the temperature and bake for 30 minutes again

  • Once cool down, slice into cubes.
