MIZORAM STYLE ARSA BEIPENEK/ SPICY CHICKEN STEW

INGREDIENTS

  • Chicken – 250 gms

  • Onion – 1 (finely chopped)

  • Dry red chili – 5 nos

  • Ginger – ½ inch (chopped)

  • Garlic – 3 (chopped)

  • Turmeric powder- ½ tsp

  • Whole wheat flour – 1 tbsp

  • Salt – to taste

  • Oil – 1 tbsp

  • Coriander leaves – few


INSTRUCTIONS

  • Wash the chicken and marinate them with onions, ginger, garlic, turmeric powder and salt for 30minutes.

  • Heat a pan with oil, add the marinated chicken fry them for at least 15 minutes.

  • Add 1 cup of water, salt, dry red chilies, and cook for 10 more minutes.

  • In a bowl mix wheat flour and water to forma thick paste, once chicken is cooked, add this paste and cook till the gravy thickens.

  • Garnish with coriander leaves and serve
