Ingredients
Cow’s Colostrum Milk – 1 cup
Whole Milk – 6 cups
Green Cardamom Powder – ½ tsp
Pepper Powder – 2 pinch
Jaggery Powder – 400 g
Method
In a large bowl, mix colostrums, milk and jiggery.
Stir well until jiggery dissolves.
Filter this into a deep bowl. (if the bowl is not deep, the milk will boil over inside the steamer)
Sprinkle pepper and cardamom powder.
Add water to a steamer/ idly cooker. When water starts boiling, reduce the flame to medium.
Place the bowl inside the steamer and let it steam for 25-40 minutes. Check after 25 mins and continue steaming if the pudding is not done.
The milk would have set well and you fill find some jiggery water on the surface.
Ensure you check and refill water in the steamer.
Once done, let it cool and refrigerate. Cut to desired size and serve.
