INGREDIENTS

  • Jasmine Rice – 1 cup

  • Oil – 1 tbsp

  • Bay leaves – 2

  • Onion – 1 medium chopped

  • Ginger paste – 1 tbsp

  • Black pepper powder – 1 tsp

  • Turmeric- 1/*2 tsp

  • Green chillies – 2 (chopped)

  • Pork – cut into small pieces 150 gms (can be replaced with chicken)

  • Water – 2 cups

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Wash and soak the rice, cut the prok into required size.

  • Heat oil in pan, add bay leaves, onions, ginger paste, and turmeric and sauté till raw smell disappears.

  • Add green chilies, pork, and fry till pork is light brown.

  • Drain the rice and add to pork and fry for 2-3 minutes.

  • Add salt and water and bring to boil.

  • Simmer and cook till rice is cooked.
