BANGWI/ RICE CAKES STEAMED IN LAIRU LEAF

INGREDIENTS
Rice – 500 gms (while flavoured sticky rice- Binni or Govindobhog. Washed and sun dried)
Ginger – 2 inch
Onion – 2
Oil/ Ghee – 2-3 tbsp
Banana leaves – 5
Salt – as pr tatste
INSTRUCTIONS
Mix the rice with ghee or oil, onion, ginger and salt
Make a cone shape in banana leaf and fill the rice mixture.
Tie the banana leaf, place it in water and boil for 1 hour
