ARUNACHAL STYLE KHARZI RICE RECIPE

INGREDIENTS


  • Rice – 1 cup (cooked)

  • Dry red chilies – 2-3

  • Mozzarella cheese – 2 tbsp

  • Ginger – ¼ inch

  • Garlic – 3 cloves

  • Tomato – 1 no

  • Salt – as per taste

  • Spring onion – ½ cup (chopped)

  • Green peas – ¼ cup(boiled)

  • Mixed vegetables – ¼ cup (finely chopped)

  • Oil – 1tbsp

INSTRUCTIONS


  • Soak red chilies in hot water for 10 minutes.

  • Grind tomato, soaked red chilies, ginger, garlic, salt, cheese and blend to a paste.

  • In a vessel, heat a tablespoon of oil, add the paste and sauté on low flame till the raw smell goes off.

  • Keep stirring and add spring onions, chopped vegetables, and green peas and mix well.

  • Once vegetables are cooked add the rice, mix well and serve.
