ARUNACHAL PRADESH ZAN/ FINGER MILLET PORRIDGE WITH VEGETABLES

INGREDIENTS
Ragi flour – 4 tbsp
Water – 1 ½ cup
Carrot – 1 (sliced)
Spinach – 1 cup
Soybeans or any beans – ¼ cup boiled
Green peas – ¼ cup
Salt – as per taste
Black pepper powder – 1 tsp
Coriander leaves – few
Ghee – 1tbsp
INSTRUCTIONS
Roast the Ragi flour in a kadai with 1 tbsp. of ghee. Mix the flour in water and cook till it becomes semi thick pate.
Blanch the vegetables in water with little salt.
In a vessel take 1 ½ cup of water and bring to boil, add the millet flour paste to this and mix well.
Add the blanched vegetables, season with salt and pepper. Keep stirring until it comes to porridge consistency and switch off the flame.
