MILLET PONGAL

INGREDIENTS:
Millets - 1 cup
Moong dal - ½ cup
Green chilli - 2 no
Cumin seed - 1 tsp
Pepper - 1 tsp
Curry leaves - few
Cashew nuts - 4 no
Asafoetida - ¼ tsp
Ginger - 1 inch
Ghee - 1 tsp
Salt - to taste
METHOD:
Dry roast millet and moong dal in a frying pan, wash and soak roasted millet and moong dal in a pan.
In a cooker add soaked millet, dal, 4 cups of water and cook for 15 minutes.
Take a pan heat ghee, add cumin seeds, chilli, pepper, curry leaves, cashew nuts, ginger, asafoetida and saute for a few minutes.
Pour it over cooked millet and dal.
Your pongal is ready.
