MANGO PACHADI

INGREDIENTS:


  • Raw mango - 1 cup

  • Jaggery - 1 cup 

  • Salt - a pinch

  • Turmeric powder -  1 tsp

  • Mustard seeds - 1 tsp

  • Red chilli - 2 no

  • Curry leaves - few

  • Hing - a pinch

  • Oil - 2 tbsp


METHOD:


  • Wash and peel the skin of mangoes, chop it into small pieces. Melt jaggery in ¼ th cup of water and filter it to remove any impurities.

  • Cook the mango pieces in water until it gets soft, and add jaggery water for few minutes and pinch of salt and boil it in a medium heat. Blend it well with jaggery.

  • Heat a tsp of oil add mustard seeds, hing, red chillies, curry leaves and turmeric powder and pour it over the pachadi.

  • Manga pachadi is ready to serve.
