Chakka Kuru Puttu

Ingredients:


  • Jackfruit Seeds – 20-25 nos

  • Cumin Seeds – 1 tsp

  • Coconut – ½ of one coconut (grated)

  • Water as required

  • Salt as required


Method:


  • Roast jackfruit seeds and peel them, and grind to make fine powder.

  • Add cumin seeds and salt and sprinkle a little water. Mix it as for puttu. The consistency should be breadcrumbs-like.

  • In puttu mould fill in grated coconut and jack fruit seed mixture as layers. Cook in steam.

  • Serve Hot.
