Ingredients:
Rice (uncooked) – Handful
Pepper Corns – as per spiciness preferred
Cumin seeds – 1 tbsp
Garlic – 1 pod
Shallot – 1 no
Jack Fruit Seeds – 1 cup
Salt – to taste
Method:
Wash seeds well and pressure cook them with 2 cups of water in a pressure cooker (4 whistles)
Cool and peal the skin and break them into small chunks.
Use a pestle / blender to coarsely pulse the garlic, shallot and cumin seeds.
Grind rice and pepper corns to fine powder and leave aside.
In a pan, heat some oil and add the pulsed mixture and salt; to this add the cooked jack fruit seeds, and stir them around.
Finally add the rice- pepper powder, mix thoroughly and remove from flame.
